N J Evans & Son are a local, long established central heating and servicing business in the Welshpool area in business for over forty years.

The business is headed by Nick along with his wife Maggie and assisted by Jamie,Richard, Robin, Dan and apprentice Jack.

Our reputation has been developed through hard work and reliability which is why our customers trust us and come back every year. Our employees are local born & bred, loyal, trustworthy and committed.

The majority of our workforce have been with us for over 20 years. Our showroom is just off the main street in Welshpool where we display gas fires, fire surrounds, and Gas and Oil boilers.

Our showroom is run by Maggie, Lynda & Hayley who have a wealth of knowledge which they can use to assist you with your enquiries.

We now have a large choice of inset gas fires, gas stoves, electric stoves, electric fires and many more fire surrounds on display. surrounds.

We operate within a 20 mile radius of Welshpool, providing for our domestic client’s central heating systems, gas, oil services and plumbing requirements.

All our central heating installations carry a comprehensive parts and labour warranty and we are now able to offer extended warranties of up to 12 years on selected boilers.

Nick Evans

Partner

Nick is a partner with Maggie. He helps with the day to day running of the engineers and the office.

Partner

Maggie Evans is a partner with Nick and is involved in the day to day running of the showroom and engineers.

Richard Evans

Installer/Engineer

Richard started working in the family business when he was 16. He assists Jamie in installing new boilers and carrying out any maintenance work that is required Richard has just completed his NVQ in plumbing and heating and is now a Gas Safe registered installer.

Lynda Bowker

Showroom Manager

Lynda has worked in the business since 1989 and assists Maggie in the day to day running of the showroom. She also ensures the smooth running of the service engineers.

Jamie Pryce

Installer/Engineer

Jamie has worked in the business since he was 16. He has a wealth of knowledge that he can rely upon to provide our customers with the best heating suitable for their homes. Jamie has built up a good reputation for his workmanship.

Robin Harbon

Heating Technician

Robin joined us four years ago and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge of the heating industry. We are very pleased to have him on board to share his expertise.
